Update
Top 5 most recent developments in my move:
5. My new furniture arrives tomorrow: table and chairs, and couch with matching chair and ottoman. I have also purchased several items from the current tenant in my soon to be new apartment in Tianmu: 1980s vomity yellow refrigerator, washer, and dryer, a fairly new big ass flat screen TV (even though I don't watch TV), and an Asian queen sized bed (slightly smaller than our queen size).
4. I am in week 5 of my Chinese classes. My counting has improved tremendously, but that's about it. Oh, and I can say Wo shi laoshi very well, which means I am a teacher. Literally translated it means I be teacher, but whatever.
3. The shipping company is coming next week to survey my goods, and my ship out date is scheduled for May 26. Once I get to Taipei, it will take at least 2 weeks for my goods to be delivered...ugh!
2. I got a big ass desktop computer with a webcam so I can skype with everyone. It's awesome! Many thanks to Jason for helping me set it up!!
1. I reserved my seat for the 13 hour flight from San Francisco to Taipei; I got an aisle seat...phew!
