Just because I don't LIKE to cook, doesn't mean I CAN'T cook. Here are 3 of my friends and me at a dumpling making class. It was a birthday gift for Cathleen from her mother, and she invited her boyfriend Olaf, Pauline, and me. While I still hate to cook, this was the best time I've ever had preparing a meal.

| Stuffing the dumplings with chopped cilantro, shitake mushrooms, and pumkin. |

| Rolling out the dough for dessert. Dough stuffed with sesame and sugar. |

I liked working with and preparing the dough, but I did not like chopping things. I also enjoyed eating our meal, though I must admit I felt horrible afterwards. I think the main reason I don't like Chinese food is that I don't like the way it makes me feel -- very lethargic and nauseous. Perhaps it's the MSG; however, our teacher used all organic ingredients, so that wasn't the case this time. I think it's all the oils. Anyway, it was fun to do something unique to Chinese culture, which I never seem to do even though I live here.
