So I finally got a little tune up for my little scooter (oil change, all liquids refilled, air in tires, new headlight, brakes checked, etc.) all for a whopping $350NT (10 dollars). Then I set off to the helmet shop and bought a helmet that actually fits me...and that I like. Already my life is so much easier. I scooted to the MRT yesterday, which took 5 minutes; it normally takes me 25 minutes to walk there. I scooted to the helmet store today, which took about 5 minutes. It would have taken at least 20 minutes to walk there. I think I'm going to like this whole scooting thing. Do you think they scoot in Budapest? I hope so.
